Kathryn Anderson

CEO/Aesthetician/Makeup Artist/Permanent Enhancement Artist

Kathryn started her career in the industry twenty years ago as a professional makeup artist in Minneapolis, MN.  While studying architecture and desing at the University of Minnesota, she mastered theater makeup which paved the way to runway and photography work.  Kathryn has worked for cosmetic giants including Estee Lauder, Chanel, Christien Dior and Shiseido. 

In 1998, Kathryn moved to Covington, Georgia to pursue a career with her sister Diana at Travis Salon Day Spa.  During her time with Travis as Spa Director, her work has been published in several Bridal & Salon Industry magazines.  She has continued to work runway with local department stores, bridal shows, television and charity events.  Kathryn’s passion is in photography makeup and her work can be seen throughout Metro Atlanta. 

In addition to makeup, Kathryn developed a passion for skin and received an esthetician license in the State of Georgia.  Advanced education is ongoing and she holds numerous certifications from Aveda Institute, International Dermal Institute and Yonka Paris Academy.

Kathryn, along with the Travis team, joined La Vie Spa & Salon in 2008.  Since that time she has earned her BBA, graduating Suma Cum Laude and a member of Delta Mu Delta and Harvard Business School Honors Society.  This achievement led her to becoming the owner of La Vie in 2013.

In 2015, Kathryn fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a certified Permanent Makeup artist. She studied under Joyce Cirasuola of Bocata2 in Williston, Florida.  Kathryn quickly realized beautiful, natural enhancements could be created by using a digital machine. She furthered her education in 2017, by training with the highly respected Global Artist & Educator, Mary Ritcherson of Tampa, Fl.  Mary's NanoLines technique has been a 'game changer'. 

Kathryn's latest endeavor has brought all of her education and experience full circle.  She has recently purchased an old house in historic Covington, GA where she is working with an architect to build a Spa & Salon that is truly unique to her vision.  Construction is under way and the new La Vie Spa & Salon is expected to open in April of 2024.
